During the two years between Jan 2005 and to July 2006, the Domiciliary Care Service has cared for more than 100 clients. At present we have approximately 70 clients who receive our service.

The service operates 24 hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Carefirst 24 also provides sleep over service, escorting service (individuals with health challenges), living in service. We deliver our service in clients home, hospitals, Care Homes, Day Care Centre’s etc…  The team consists of 50 Health Care Associate , 20 of whom work on a casual basis. Currently we are providing 2,000 hours plus of care each month.

We are also fully aware that your home is your home and that sometimes having other people, who are relatively new acquaintances there, may feel a bit awkward. Don’t worry; we will assist you at home with as little disruption as possible. A Care Manager will visit you at home to assess your needs. All of our Care Managers are Registered Nurses and are very competent in what they do. They will then design a Care Plan, which will be regularly reviewed and allocate a trained Carefirst 24 Home Care Associate (HCA) to assist you. Where possible, we will ensure that you always get the same HCA so that you know whom you’re getting – a face you know.
