Registered in England and Wales, Company Number 4948874, we commenced trading from our Wallington, Surrey offices in June 2004 and we have moved to new premises in June 2006, near Sutton station, and this makes access to the head office of Carefirst 24 easier for both staff and service users.

The company's Executive Director is Mr Mahen Caussyram who is also a founder ity to care reviews and other care related activities. Malaya also performs many of Carefirst 24’s generic and specific Risk Assessments.


We need you

We have an excellent team of health care associates at Carefirst 24 and always welcome new faces. If you are a kind, friendly and caring person and do not have a criminal record we would love to speak to you. It would be advantageous if you had your own transport.

All of our Health Care Associates have a common interest and desire to provide a first class service to our clients.



We have a 3 days induction course that all contracted Health Care Associates attend to ensure that they are trained to the highest level to meet with CSCI standards. This includes training in care, manual handling, first aid, fire awareness, abuse, food hygiene and health and safety. If you haven't done care work before we will take our time to ensure that you are trained to a high standard of care and feel confident.

For any clients with specific needs further training would be given.

All Health Care Associates will have the opportunity to receive NVQII in Care Training within 6 months of starting with us.


Work Available

We have two types of work available for Health Care Associates; Home Care and Live-In Care.

Some of our Health Care Associates do Live-In care and also Home Care when they do not have a Live-In client, it is up to you which you choose. We can help you decide which will suit you better.



Home care wages start from £ 6.50 to £14.50 hour. Those who have achieved care qualifications or assume greater responsibilities receive enhancements.

Live-In care support staff pay is generally between £60 and £80 per day , depending on the client and their needs. The higher the level of care required the more you will be paid.

We will have a chat over the telephone and explain further any information that you may require. At this stage we will establish which area of work you require, i.e. Home care or Live-in care.

Confirmation of your interview time and an application form will then be posted out to you. Should you be successful at your interview, we will arrange for a criminal record check to be completed and schedule a time for you to be trained. Once we have acceptable references/CRB check back and you have successfully completed our training courses we will endeavor to match you with clients that would be suitable to your preferences, skills and availability.
