Nurse Associate Practitioner (Community). Band 4
Service Users:
Patients in the community– in the home, in clinics and in intermediate care settings.
Job Summary
• Implements planned care for patients in the community and other settings; observes patients condition, records clinical observations and reports to qualified nurse
• Contributes to assessment of care needs and care plan
• May carry out some designated nursing procedures ( when trained and competent to do so)
• May supervise clinical support workers in same area: may assist in assessment and attainment of learning and development needs of clinical support workers
Training / Qualifications / Knowledge
Knowledge of nursing procedures and practices acquired through NVQ 3 plus additional training to diploma level or equivalent through short courses
Desirable Criteria: NVQ Assessor
Experience
At least 3 years experience in the area of the assignment.
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge and understanding about the above position will be asked at interviews
